Details
Lack of self-reflection, curiosity, and compassion in our private, public, or professional conversations causes more separation, frustration, or, in some cases, polarization. The patterns of me vs. you or us vs. them create frustration and resentment that ruins our relationships or disengages people from our organizational goals. However, if we practice showing more curiosity and compassion to understand the other party, we will have a creative dialogue instead of a debate that leads to new solutions based on our common ground, not our differences.
In this event, we will practice having a dialogue by playing a game about practicing self-reflection and conscious and curious listening in conversations.
Limited to 10 seats; reserve early! We would request a suggested donation of CHF 20-25 for the space.
PRESENTER:
Elham Khatibi was born and raised in Iran and has lived in Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. She has a master’s degree in material engineering and an MBA. Currently, she works as a product manager in ANYbotics.
Some years ago, she found her passion in Psychology and its role in our self-development.
During her life journey, Elham experienced diversity in different aspects such as cultural, educational, relational, etc. Encountering these diverse situations, she experienced communication's significant role in bringing people together or setting them apart. Thus, she got interested in methods that help us create a psychologically safe space for better communication.
