Anapana (or mindful observation of breathing) meditation is an ancient technique known for its widespread benefits. It is primarily used to develop a strong focus and engage with the reality of the present moment. Often, our minds race ahead into the future, driven by fear and anxiety, or linger in the past, replaying situations with regret. Yet, we all know that the present moment is all we truly have. Anapana meditation helps us realize this truth, calming the overactive mind and fostering a sense of tranquility and peace.

Establishing a regular daily practice can be challenging, even though we understand its potential benefits. Starting the day with "me-time" and prioritizing our most important relationship—the one with ourselves—can lead to a more peaceful and aligned day.

While there are numerous books and videos on this topic, it's my strong conviction that being part of a community of meditators can make a significant difference. Engaging in open and loving exchanges, understanding the nuances of integrating meditation into daily life, sharing how others maintain their practice, and having group or one-on-one accountability can all help you find your flow.

PRESENTERS:

Tobias tried different techniques of meditation and found Vipassana meditation as the most life changing practice for himself. From abusing substances and always trying to balance party and spirituality he finally found a grounding practice and changed many areas of life for the better. Eight months of volunteering service in a meditation center in Switzerland helped a lot in establishing himself in meditation and integrating awareness and equanimity in life.
