1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all programs and events offered by MQ Learning Academy / Meaning Quotient GmbH (hereafter referred to as "MQ"). They govern the contractual relationship between participants and MQ.

2. Registration

Registrations for our programs can be made via our website or email and are binding. Participant numbers are limited; registrations are processed in the order they are received and confirmed via email.

3. Limited Seats

To ensure an interactive and experiential learning environment, most of our programs have limited seats (exceptions include short workshops, company-specific training, additional overseers, etc.). We reserve the right to change the event location within the city if necessary.

4. Event Conditions and Cancellations

 

4.1 Cancellation by MQ Learning Academy

MQ reserves the right to cancel an event if there are fewer than 4 participants. In such cases, participants will be offered either:

• A 100% refund of the paid fee, or

• A seat in the next similar program.

MQ may also adjust event details (such as location, trainers, or schedule) while maintaining the overall program structure.

4.2 Cancellation or Changes by the Participant

If a participant needs to cancel or change their booking:

• Up to 7 days before the event: Cancellation is free of charge.

• Less than 7 days before the event: 50% of the participation fee will be charged.

• Within 24 hours before the event: No cancellation or refund is possible.

• If seats are available, we allow transfer to another program without extra charges.

 

5. Services Included

The participation fee includes:

• Attendance at the event

• Refreshments and snacks during breaks

• Event materials

Accommodation costs are not included. MQ reserves the right to replace announced speakers or make necessary adjustments to the event schedule while maintaining the program’s core value.

6. Participation Fee and Discounts

Full payment is required to secure attendance. Discounts are available for group registrations as follows:

• For 3 or more participants: 10% discount

• For 6 or more participants: 15% discount

Group registrations must be submitted on the same day. Discounts cannot be combined with other special offers or memberships.

7. Company Invoices

For company-sponsored registrations, we are happy to discuss specific company policies and invoice requirements upon request.

8. Principles and Code of Conduct

Our training programs are based on equality and inclusivity. We welcome participants of all backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, and races. However, we reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who engages in misbehavior or disrespect towards others.

9. Insurance and Liability

Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage. MQ is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, accidents, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. We recommend obtaining cancellation insurance to cover potential costs.

10. Data Protection

Participants’ personal data will be handled confidentially and used only for internal purposes and event organization. Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

11. Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.
